STREIT Group expansion into Azerbaijan

The double-digit revenue growth achieved by STREIT Group in recent months has  enabled  further expansion into new marekts , with Azerbaijan as the next target.

Having established itself as the world’s leading privately owned armored vehicles manufacturer, largely through success in Africa and the Middle East regions, the company is gaining strong foundations in the Eastern European, Asia-Pacific and Latin American regions.

Azerbaijan has been a strategically important location for many centuries, today, the progress seen in Azerbaijan’s defence industry, regions economy as a whole and its relationships with neighbouring countries makes Azerbaijan an attractive market.

STREIT Group’s Chief Executive Guerman Goutorov says: “In this region there is a growing need for defence products and services to protect against ever increasing security threats. We will be introducing to Azerbaijan a range of security solutions specifically designed to address particular concerns, and we believe that our fresh approach will be welcomed by customers in the region.”

STREIT Group’s growth has been remarkable in view of the economic difficulties faced by many other armored vehicle manufacturers. A key factor has been STREIT successful expansion into military as well as commercial sectors, the Group will be particularly targeting army and other military business in Azerbaijan. Guerman Goutorov believes the formula for STREIT Group success is quite simple: “We listen to what our customer wants, we provide affordable solution and we deliver on a short timescale.”

STREIT Group  vehicles are currently manufactured  in 12 production plants, world-wide, with further  plans to extend manufacturing capacity and strengthen supply chains in a wider range of countries.

In addition to armored vehciles  STREIT Group  will be introducing “Defense & Emergency Training  Courses” – personnel training programs tailor made for police, special forces, military training and diplomatic missions. There are more than 120 specialist courses available, each one is specifically customised around the client’s requirements, with course duratuion form threee days to six months.
